I never met Griff, for a number of years we played scrabble against each other on facebook and I always enjoyed his conversation. A game could take weeks to complete, but once finished we'd always start a new one to keep the craic going. You could tell that he was a much loved husband, father, son, friend and meant a lot to many people. I only knew him a little bit but I'm glad I met him even if it was just online. I was always trying to teach him little bits of Gaeilge. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. May he rest in peace.
